A multicoloured renovation

The farm in France

When we talk about renovation, we certainly do not think of multicolour as the first adjective to be assigned to the new house. On the contrary, the fashions of the moment, are going to meet more and more natural colours. That can clearly embrace both Zen philosophy and recall nature. Especially if you are not lucky enough to live in the middle of greenery. But what if it were a farm, already surrounded by the wildest nature? Well, in that case, you can put fashion aside and give more space to fantasy. A multicoloured renovation is what we are going to see today. Our journey into the real world real estate world makes a stop in France today. So if you’re interested and can’t wait to discover more… we can get started!

The farm

Before we start talking about the changes related to the multicolor renovation, let’s try to analyze the structure. It is a farm located in the south-east of France. Completely renovated in a multicoloured key. The perfect place for many who, according to studies, would like to leave the city to spend the lockdown in contact with nature. The ideal place to do everything within its walls, but also to live outdoors in style. Needless to say, the multicoloured renovation has been quite invasive. Especially with regard to the construction of heating systems, which were previously absent. The original structure was also about 700 square metres. Currently, however, the surface area occupies 220 square metres. This is for two reasons. The first, essentially related to the budget, the second, to give more space to the surrounding environment.

A multicoloured renovation

Let us now see the stylistic choices that give this farm the merit of being a multicoloured renovation. It should be noted that the typical rural style of the farm has not been altered. But it is a perfect combination of modernity and country life. Take the bathroom, for example. The emblem of this fusion. Well, with the beauty of the surroundings, the architect thought well of leaving this room outdoors. On the roof. Equipped however with a concealed roof system, the bathroom has antique furniture in a rather bizarre colour scheme. The cream and red Siena tiles, combined with the green lawn outline, guarantee a multicoloured style.

But that’s not all. The peculiarity of this house, is also given by the presence of ancient but revalued wooden structures. As for example the entrance, which has a beam crossing on the ceiling, restructured and treated. The style at the entrance is definitely country, but with touches of modernity. Like the trampoline that totally covers the (partial) absence of flooring. There are also large windows and connections with the other rooms. Like the kitchen. Very visible through the holes of the trampoline. The ceiling allows both the passage of light and protection on hot days. Thanks to an intelligent covering system. And, in terms of colour, green is the master in this multicoloured renovation.

Would you ever want to live there?
