As per the different types of weather, the landscape vary a lot throughout the peninsula.

The central-northern part encompasses valleys and plains, while the north-west and north-east have some of the most beautiful mountains in Europe (Alpi).

The central part is touched by two seas from each side (Adriatico and Tirreno). But a long “back-bone” of shorter mountains runs until the very south (Appennini).

The southern part is renown for the splendid seaside. However, it is also studded with mountains, volcanos and plain valleys.

Finally, the both the main and the smaller islands show peculiar landscapes with coasts and waters undisputably comparable to the Caribbean Sea.

You are not really living in Italy if you haven’t tried the typical food that each region has to offer. Italian cuisine has been exported basically anywhere in the world and for a reason.

A good point here is to underline that you shouldn’t consider only pizza and pasta, but explore beyond the icons. Dive in, go deep into the food culture of the city you are planning to live into. You will discover that basically any town, for how bug they might be, have their own real, folkloristic food places.

Furthermore, Polish people as well as other foreigners know Italy as the cradle of arts. Know that (not kidding) about the 70% of the global cultural heritage is this relatively tiny peninsula.

In fact, the Italian Government has taken many efforts in these past year to preserve the architectural wonders spread across the Country.

If you are bored you are not living in Italy

Italy is the fourth most visited destination with about 96 million visitors a year (report from Statista for 2019).

Imagine relocating to a place where every weekend can be a surprise to enjoy, having a totally different landscape within a 2 hours drive.

This is why it’s really the case for a tourist to get a spare 2 months to grasp something of the Italian culture and landscapes.

In other words, buying a house and living in Italy can be a durable life-changing experience and a corner of beauty for Polish citizens.
