Homeschooling

How best to do it

Do you know what is meant by the term homeschooling? It is a particular term that is having great resonance on the international scene. It is not an already consolidated reality, but a theory, a project that is ”feared” can regain ground. In many EU countries, September is the month in which the school year begins again. There are many questions this year. Does it really start again? Will the lessons be in presence or not ?

Homeschooling

Will there be smaller classes? And again, how much will this affect the learning of our children? But perhaps, the question that is flashing in your head most of all is the following: what does homeschooling have to do with real estate? Well, the answer will surprise you. Experts predict the risk of having to adapt your home to a new school.

A sort of parental school education, which goes far beyond deferred lessons. They talk, therefore, about the transformation of their parents into real teachers to follow their children until the end of the year. How to behave and what are the rules to follow ?
Well, if you are curious and want to know more, you are in the right place. We at Realigro will put you in a safe place, explaining how to behave if there is this need. So, if you are ready, we can start with our mini guide today!

Parental education

Indoor parental education is not so new. In the past, in fact, the aristocrats preferred that their children were educated inside their own palace, private instructors went to the castle and not the other way around. Over the centuries this tradition has completely disappeared. Or almost. Suffice it to say that in the United Kingdom, in 2015, less than a thousand pupils were educated at home, practicing real homeschooling.
So, know this : this tradition could come back !

Homeschooling : advantages and limits

It remains to be understood now what are the limits and potential of homeschooling. We assume that today, those who have continued to choose this option, will have done so mainly for the following reasons: lack of confidence in the school system, strong religious or political ideologies or, ultimately, for health reasons.
The positive side is to have direct contact with one’s own child and to follow him/her in learning in a constant way, in addition to the social distancing required because of the epidemic. The negative side ? Well, there are many. First of all, the absence of socialization, the lack of cognitive confrontation and, secondly, the inhibition given by the presence of the parent. In addition, not all parents, even the best ones, are able to be empathetic with their children.
The lack of play, finally, could lead the youngest to a total rejection of learning.

The rules

The regulatory system to be respected is quite varied, so, considering the difference between the various countries, we suggest you consult the ministerial regulations.

And you, are you ready for homeschooling?
